This incredibly scarce edition documents the work of painter, sculptor and performance artist, Günther Uecker. Known by many for his textural nail pieces, involving various organisations of nails in furniture, sculptures and paintings, Uecker moved in to creating light and kinetic sculptures, interacting with environments outside of the gallery from the streets to forests and beaches. Illustrated thoroughly throughout with colour and black and white illustrations, with an extensive text by Dieter Honisch.

First edition, published by Abrams, 1986.

Condition: Very good, missing section torn from front of dust jacket , aside from this flaw, the book is in fine condition with some light signs of wear.
