The architectural firm, established in 1944 by F. R. S. Yorke; a British writer and architect who worked Marcel Breuer, Eugene Rosenberg; a Slovakian-born architect who had previously worked with Le Corbusier, and brought the influence of the international style to the firm, and Finnish architect Cyril Mardall. The several public, housing, industrial and commercial buildings designed by the firm set the standard for modernist architecture in Britain, leaving us with masterpieces such as St. Thomas Hospital, the Boots head office, Gatwick Airport and the University of Warwick.The book is accompanied by a signed letter from Eugene Rosenberg regarding the creation of the book.
