Pair of Brutalist chairs and ottoman designed and manufactured by designer and artisan furniture maker Sonja Wasseur in her own atelier in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, circa 1970. The arms of these chairs have different heights wich gives an anusual effect and makes the chairs suitable to be used as a settee when put right next to each other. The pillows can either be used as neck support or lumbar support. Her unique pieces were only produced in small numbers for a small period and therefore rare. The chairs have a minimalistic Brutalist design in laqcuered wood with saddle leather and chrome details.
