Description
This powerful poster was issued by Oz magazine to mark Jimi Hendrix's death a month earlier of a drug overdose on the 18th of September 1970 .
Oz, the one and only controversial, Australian (later, British), satirical, hippie counter-culture magazine. Known for it’s probing articles, challenging the unspoken injustices of society and risqué methods of presentation (for example the ‘School Kids’ edition, created and edited by secondary school children). This edition is one of the British psychedelic editions, with articles on drugs, surfing, drugs, new age architecture, the CIA etc… A free Jimi Hendrix poster, and a brilliant pink and blue advert on the back for The Mothers of Invention album ‘Weasels Ripped My Flesh’.
Condition: It is perfect condition apart from creasing where it has been stored.
Poster is framed and comes with the issue of the magazine. (If posting we will have to remove the glass)
