Description
Arts and Industry, a large ornate Victorian cast iron fireplace surround. Each leg is finely cast with a main panel. The left jamb depicting a Grecian lady carving a marble bust of a cherub with further branches of oak bearing acorns amongst ribbons. The right jamb a Grecian lady painting a landscape scene with further ivy branches and ribbons. A real show stopper and talking point. Dated 1889.
