Lighting pieces made by German designer Eckart Muthesius (1904-1989) in 1930 for the Maharaja of Indore for his palace Manik Bagh, which means "Jewel Gardens". Muthesius was employed by the Maharaja in 1929 to design his palace in India. Within four years this palace became a masterpiece of art, with most of furniture and lamps created by Muthesius.
