Description

A foliage floor lamp by Richard Faure made from brass and metal on a marble circular base. The overall shape and design is very organic with flowing lines. A single, halogen light source is hidden in the top leaf. The hammered metal leaves have a wide brass edge. The brass has developed a lovely patina in places over time. The light is focused in an upright direction allowing light to pour out, creating an atmospheric lighting effect which can be dimmed. This style of design is often also attributed to Henry Fernandez, Jacques Duval-Brasseur or Willy Daro who were all active in the 1980s and whose designs drew inspiration from nature.
Condition: Currently wired for use in Europe (220V) with a two pin plug, dimmer switch and halogen bulb fitting. We also have two matching wall sconces available through Kairos.
