Late 19th Century Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Surround

Late 19th Century Victorian cast iron fireplace surround the bolection mould frame is surmounted by a breakfront frieze, the centre raised panel is flanked by cushion moulded panels decorated with acanthus leaf detail all below egg and dart detailing. Dated 1898. This fireplace has been finished the traditional black grate polish, leaving a gun metal / pewter shine.
