Italian Elliptical Light Wood and Blue Glass Table, 1950s

A dining table, manufactured in Italy during the 1950s Solid light wood, blue retro lacquered glass, black enameled iron Restoration: A complete restoration was carried out on this table starting from a deep sanding of the original finish, to bring the wood back to its original raw state, then a new finish was applied with Japanese oil, this oil protects the wood over time. commits it and enhances its color and light veins. One leg has been unglued and re-bonded. The glass has its original lacquering and is in excellent condition. This Mid-Century Modern design is very reminiscent of the hand of Ico Parisi but unfortunately we have not found references in this regard.
