Pleasingly aged maritime chest with useful interior Displays a desirable aged patina throughout Ebonised pine shows charming patination with dark hues Traditionally waxed lid presents bright caramel hues Stout lid opens smoothly, coming to rest on a rear brace Sliding tool trays within, presented in a light chestnut hue Dressed with an oval brass lock escutcheon — in working order, key present Period charm to key with a 1919 English 1 Penny coin fob Flat planked top ideal for use as a coffee table Robust iron drop handles to either side for ease of carriage Standing upon a deep, continuous plinth foot This is a wonderfully sized antique shipwright's chest.
