Description
A beautiful screen by Fournier Decoration, Paris, comprising three carved wood panels depicting five naked, female figures and fountains in Art Nouveau style. The other side of the screen is painted with a monochrome fountain. The three panels have two-way hinges so can stand either way.
The screen is inspired from a section of Gustav Klimt's Vienna secession paintings “The Beethoven Frieze: the Longing for Happiness” which was painted on the wall of Vienna's Secession Museum in 1902.
Condition: Good, consistent with ages with some small age related chips and marks on edge.
