One of the most refined modern design Danish armchairs is this model 6720 arm chair by Designers Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm from 1965. This arm chair was designed part of a modular seating system that contained 2, 3 and 4-seat sofa's. The chair is constructed from excessively heavy steel with signature natural leather lace wrapped arm rest. The natural leather turns darker due to the use, creating a unique patina. On the back panel of the chair there is a die-cut pattern in the leather which, as it were, breaks the otherwise larger flat surface and makes it interesting to look at the back. The leather on the seat construction is hand sewn, this pattern is a beautiful craft detail that you find underneath the cushions. The cushions, executed in still beautifully thick aniline leather, are upholstered both sides providing for them to be used at both side's. The cushions are partially down filled providing great comfort. This is an extremely high quality made chair with a unique modern and timeless appearance. Alfred Kill (manufacturer) label present to underside of frame (see images). Should you be interested in a pair of these chairs, or in any of the sofa's (2/3/4 seats), then please enquire. We can deliver these newly (licensed) made in any desired leather. The design and quality is truly the same high end quality.
