Description

Section of Original Camaleonda sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, circa 1970s. The sofa features four seat elements with three back-rests and two arm-rests. The three Scacci (Italian for chess) elements are available but not included in this listing. These elements are designed by Bellini to complement the Camaleonda sofa and can be used as coffee or side tables or as decorative pieces. The Camaleonda became instantly famous when introduced at The New Domestic Landscape held in the MOMA Museum in 1972. This ‘landscape’ sectional sofa is flexible in use. The sections can be used separate or together. The backs and armrests are attached with rings and carabiners and rope which allows for them to be placed wherever necessary. The sofa can also be expanded with additional Camaleonda sections. All seat pieces are labeled. We also have more elements in stock in stock. Also 3 Scacci elements by C&B available. Scacci are translated from Italian to English as chess pieces. They can be used as coffee and side tables or as decorative pieces. The sofa features: Original fabric.
