First edition, published by D’Arcy Galleries, New York, 1960. This catalogue was produced for the final official International Surrealist Exhibition, organised by Andre Breton and Marcel Duchamp, making this publication a significant document in the history of 20th century art. Featuring an embossed cover designed by Marcel Duchamp and essays by Jose Pierre, Edouard Jaguer and Vincent Bounoure. The catalogue is illustrated throughout in black and white to accompany the short text on each artist.
