Description
Collection of early 19th Century black plaster seals by Antonio Odelli.
These wonderful seals are framed in bespoke made frames that would sit well in both a modern and antique interior.
Seals (emblems) were popular devices used during the 19th Century for making impressions in wax, clay, or paper to authenticate documents or to prevent interference with a package.
The seals were commonly used by royals and prestigious families to print their family crest onto documents to certify who they were and to make them recognisable among their societies.
This is a fantastic collection that will create a decorative and interesting focal point for any interior.
