Description

Handmade by the Byrdcliffe Colony in Woodstock, NY. A utopian community founded in 1902 and inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. Artists and craftsmen would live and work together completely self-sufficiently. They created many things, but only about 50 pieces of furniture. This rarity is one of them. 

With three shelves below a fall front with an inset copper panel, revealing a shelf and two small cupboards with inset copper decoration.
