Description
I love the ombre effect to this rug. This rug was made by ‘Madu’ in 2002, and she was intent on writing that in the middle of the rug! Using wool that would have come from an older rug.
The Beni M'Guild tribe is from the northern Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco and they tend to produce the most dense, heavy rugs due to the harsh climate. The pile is thick and the rugs tend to have tone-on-tone designs.
